A difficulty with any health care reform is that we like consuming it. If we get it from the government and if there is no incentive to not over-indulge system costs rise. If everyone could get as much as they wanted, we'd be spending more than the 16% of GDP we spend now.
Obviously the current system has too much overhead, to many middlemen.
