A diary on the rec list attacks another diary about Lyme Disease for a couple of sentences that appear unscientific.
However, if you have an unrecognized disease, you must try whatever you can to get well. Obviously, I am not recommending running around getting dangerous tests and treatments from quacks.
In all my forty years of suffering from what is now called Chronic Fatigue, I have never encountered a true quack. I'm sure they are out there, but I haven't run into one.
Today, I am suffering more than average, so I cannot do a complete diary. I just felt the need to register my objection in something that would hit the right hand column if only for a few minutes.
You cannot imagine the pain and agony of having an unrecognized and/or untreatable disease. Exploring all avenues, even the dubious ones, is not to be dismissed. Sometimes the dubious or outrageous is the genius idea in the room.
