Shorter version - changes in the patent filing system are designed to screw over the smallest inventors - and you in the end.

USA Today whores out

"Tim Meyer and Andrew Rauscher, who both work in the city's Downtown neighborhood, say they bought the books Monday in a Downtown shop.
Meyer, 33, and Rauscher, 25, would not name the store, saying they're frequent customers and don't want to cause trouble for the management, which apparently made the mistake of putting the book out too early. They described the store as similar to an airport gift shop, located near their offices at Pathway Productions, 200 S. Meridian St."

I pick up most of my written news online at Excite.com, cause it gives me feeds to the CBS written material, & CBS is in a co-publishing argeement with The Nation, National Review, American Prospect and couple of other magazines I can't remember. It's nice wide variety or material - good for reminding me that exclusively reading stuff from one point of view isn't necessarily good for my opinions.

But I can't help but think this one's way over the top: End Of The Astro-Nots? is by John Derbyshire, a National Review writer.
