It isn't attributed to anyone, but succinctly states what so many people think about private accounts, but aren't able to express.
Those of us over 55 are not in fear of losing our own benefits, but afraid our children and grandchildren will lose guaranteed benefits. That is the fact we need to hammer home. Private accounts allow for the possibility that you might get a better return, but you might learn less. Donald Trump himself, when asked on the subject, said you might win, but you could lose.
