I just ordered Outfoxed, a low budget guerrilla documentary on the right wing bias of Fox News channel. Like Moore's F-9/11, I have no illusion that the documentary will in any way follow traditional journalistic standards of objectivity. But it may be an interesting perspective nonetheless.
I own a digital projector and 8' screen mounted on my living room wall. As soon as it arrives I will offer private viewing(s) of the DVD for up to eight people at a time (the LR is small) in the Cambridge/Somerville MA area. Drop me a note at jmaynardg@yahoo.com if you're in the area and would like to view this documentary.
UPDATE 1: just so everyone understands, any private viewings of this documentary will be FREE. I will not request a fee to show the program. However, I'll probably suggest folks bring potluck style donations of microwave popcorn and/or soda to the event(s) for the group to consume. That seems reasonable.
UPDATE 2: "Public viewings" changed to "Private viewings" just to be clear that this is noncommercial and happening in my home.
UPDATE 3: Have joined the moveon.org "House Party" event to show the DVD this upcoming Sunday the 18th at 7pm. You can search out locations near you by following this link:
