I apologize if something like this has been posted before, but how do these two get along at all?
How does free-market capitalism side with moral objectivism? How do the same people that decry the media for things like SpongeBob and South Park side with the same people that want fewer limits on government oversight of media and monopolies?
Bankruptcy reform, social security reform, health care, welfare reform - where is the religious right when it comes to supporting policies that actually help people directly?
Free market capitalists should hate any law that infringes on media control or one that forces a medical organization to provide health care against their will (i.e. Schiavo).
These two groups make up the majority of the right wing today walking hand-in-hand, but they should be at odds with each other. How is this possible?
I just don't understand.
