Ernie Suggs at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports today that not only did the state send out 300,00 Voter ID notification letters, they sent out 200.000 of them AFTER the Voter ID law had been struck down in court.

I've been meaning to write about these two races for a couple of weeks now. They're not high profile races, but they're important nonetheless. John Barrow & Jim Marshall are both victims of Georgia Republicans' recent Texas-style redistricting. Both are incumbents running in districts that aren't as blue as they used to be. I've noted that these races are rated "leans Democratic," but in this state that's not a whole lot of security.
