As we noted earlier, the exit polls show Sanders winning 55-45, but as we’ve cautioned on every election night liveblog, the exit polls can and almost always do change as new waves of results are added and the polls are adjusted. We saw this happen in New York, for instance, when the first wave of exits had Clinton up just 4 but she won by 16.
And there are reasons to expect such changes tonight, too. For instance, right now, Clinton is tied 50-50 among self-identified Democrats. However, in almost every other state, she has won this group.
