You know what? Even The Anti-Idiotatian Rottweiler weighed in on the Luskin vs. Atrios dispute and, wonder of wonders, came down on the side of the Pseudononymous One. I went and posted something congratulatory. I'm still flabbergasted about this whole thing--the idea that the entire blogworld, no matter how far left or how far right, all had the same immediate reaction.
I really don't think Luskin knew quite what he was stepping into. Since the man is obviously not very cutting in his analyses, and managed to simultaneously piss off a great deal of (very talkative) people across the political spectrum, and seems to be making the exact same mistake a certain splotchy friend of ours made in the case of O'Reilly vs. Franken, I think we can safely say the man is stupid. And not just regular stupid, but Stupid.
And you know what else? Mark Kleiman thinks the rest of NRO might force him out, since Luskin himself may have written some libelous things about Krugmam. So if he's out of a job, he'll actually be Poor, too. So then we can call him Poor Stupid. What do you think? I think it's got a nice ring to it.
