Anyone notice this little piece on the Yahoo News frontpage?:

The Fundies have clued into the fact that it's heterosexuals destroying the santity of marriage (of course most of these destroyers are also Bible-thumpers but that's beside the point.)
The part I found most chilling was the statement that those that engaged in "deliberate childlessness" were part of the problem. Here in California, our recent failed experiment in gay marriage is working its way through the courts. The major argument the Christian Right has put forward against gay marriage is that "marriage is for the purpose of procreation", a concept any sane judge would find laughable but of course the operative word here is "sane".
So think about this....the party of "smaller, less intrusive government" thinks they should be able to codify into law whom you marry, whether you have children....and if the recent actions of John Ashcroft in Oregon are any sign.....how and when you die.
Anyone find this concept frightening?
