If I wasn't confused before I am now.
I don't think that I have ever seen more contradictory poll results than this one at CNN.
http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/11/22/opinion.poll/index.html
Responding to whether the United States made a mistake in sending troops to Iraq, 51 percent said no and 47 percent said yes. So that is clear and supports the result of the election.
Equally as positive, 51 percent said the Iraqi elections will take place and 42 percent disagreed.
Fine, but hang on....asked who was winning the war in Iraq -- the United States and its allies or insurgents -- 46 percent of respondents said neither side, and only 44 percent said the United States and its supporters. Even worse, 49 percent of those surveyed doubt the United States will able to keep Iraq on track toward democratic government, and only 46 percent are confident it will be done. 52 percent don't even feel Iraqis will accept the election results.
But it's OK. Was worried there for a moment:. 52% said Bush was doing a good job.
WOT!!! Bush doing a good job when only 44 per cent think he is winning the war.
Look at the rest of the results and then ask the men in white coats to come and give me my medicine. I should not look at polls like these.
