After the weekend my new Dem Candidate Rankings:
- Still haven't settled on a front runner
- Dean is still the man for now, despite the gauntlet he had to run this weekend in Iowa. Besides, he's got Harkin on his side.
- Clark: He's a notch above Gephardt today. The move to skip Iowa may prove to be the boldest move of the race so far.
- Gephardt: He's looking weaker in Iowa but I'm not convinced he's out of it yet
- Moseley Braun: She's still the most elegant and graceful, not to mention sexiest, candidate and she really gave Tucker "the potzer" Carlson what for on CNN
- Edwards: Still a nice guy and he's got the endorsement of Iowa's largest newspaper, drawing larger than usual crowds in Des Moines. If he hangs in there he'll be one to watch in the south.
- Sharpton: He was on Diane Rehm and came across very well, I thought. Funny but also well-spoken and thoughtful, knowledgeable and straightforward on most issues
- Lieberman: Saw him on CNN. Gained a few points but still I'm mostly soured on this guy.
- Kerry: I hardly saw him in the news this weekend; bad sign.
- Kucinich: Keep the faith pal. His staff must be hating the ride on that bus with no heat and no bathroom and only vegetarian meals on the menu.
