Doesn't she have the coolest name in the history of politics?
Former first lady Lady Bird Johnson has been hospitalized and is undergoing medical tests, but is awake and receiving visits from family members and friends, a family spokesman said Friday.
More after the break.
According to AP, the former first lady is 94. In 2002 she had a stroke which has made speaking difficult, but continued making public appearances.
The reason for her admission to the hospital has not been announced; her daughter Luci Baines Johnson is with her; Lynda Johnson Robb is expected to arrive later.
Per a family friend, Mrs. Johnson is "resting comfortably and is awake and lucid."
This is pretty short (REAL short for me...) but I wanted to express:
Best wishes and thoughts for good health to Mrs. Lady Bird Johnson.
