It is has been an established fact in our history of the First Amendment that is not alright to yell "Fire!" in a crowded theater. Why? Because of the confusion and possible harm that such an invocation can cause. In Minneapolis, reporters were arrested for "inciting terrorism" simply for being present at demonstration of the herky-jerky Republican National Convention – an even that even that party tried not to attach it brand to as well.
But now in Clearwater, Florida at a Palin rally of 3,000 Fifth Reichers – we here a shout out not from the 3rd grade class that was getting extra credit to listen to this bimbo, but a rancid cry of hatred.
"Kill Him" the man shouted.
How in the name of the United States of America does a political event engender such venom as to rise to the incitement of murder?
"Kill Him"
Was this wrong headed man rebuked and chastened by Sarah Palin? No! It was ignored by the unqualified aspirant to power and in the alternative she egged on the crowd with even greater invectives and further degradation by the use hateful politics of false personal attacks.
"Kill Him"
Did the crowd react against this call for illegality? No! Because the adherents to this philosophy apparently embrace violence as a means to resolving POLTICAL DIFFERENCES. Frankly, in order to remain a loyal Republican they have had to become accepting of the BUSH DOCTRINE (sorry Sarah to use a term that you do not understand) of aggression in the form of preemptive military action or worse the war against individuals in torture. It appears that our Republican fellow citizens have now devolved to accepting lawlessness as a core principle. Sad...
"Kill Him"
I could not believe my ears really! Did someone really say that? My sadness is only trumped by my sense of outrage. What I want to know most of all is the Secret Service protectors of Palin equally outraged? This call to "Kill Him" places the protectors at risk also. Surely they must know this. And if the leaders of the Republicans can not rebuke this ILLEGAL expression then our appointed guardians of civil order should. So I say to the Secret Service – do your god damned job!
"Protect Him"
