Time to review the Lynndie English case.
Lynndie English is the one time guard at Abu Ghraib who was charged, prosecuted, and convicted for requiring male Muslim prisoners to strip in front of her and to assume compromising positions with other male prisoners, both types of actions abhorrent to Muslims.
New revelations from the recently de-classified "torture" memos indicate that Private English was following "secret" orders concerning the treatment of those prisoners, orders which were not allowed to be presented at her trial because of "National Security" issues.
President Obama has said repeatedly that his administration wants to forget the past and look forward, and that no one following orders would be punished under his administration for the torture of prisoners while they were following orders.
It is time for President Obama to back up his words with actions and provide a presidential pardon for Lynndie English, or, better yet, he should use his "Commander-in-Chief" status to order a new trial based on new evidence and get her an aquittal.
She is still being punished for following orders.
