I heard Michael Jackson died, I think. I'm not sure. I mean I think I heard something about it. But they might be talking about a different Michael Jackson than the singer. After all, the star on Hollywood Boulevard everyone is putting flowers on is for some radio guy I never heard of, so who knows.
On the other hand, Farrah Fawcett died today... and that is sad. One reason is her son is in prison and was not able to be with her when she died. A lot of people in prison suffer through that experience. I knew a guy who was doing 20 years and couldn't see his father, his mother and one brother in their final days. He couldn't even go to the funerals. Sort of cruel, but hardly unusual.
But hey. Don't mind me. I just thought I'd share that. Of course, now some diary about Michael Jackson will get pushed down the list and I'll have to bear the burden of sending it to oblivion. But don't worry. We'll all be there soon enough. Speaking of which...
I hear Ahmadinejad Demands Obama Apologize. I didn't read the article, but I'm guessing he thinks Obama shouldn't have ruined Sanford's marriage with all his crazy socialism. Of course Ahmadinegad asking Obama to apologize for anything is kind of weird. I would think he be offering an apology. You know what Ahmadinejad's campaign slogan was? Yes We Can-- except in Farsi. I shit you not. Of course, in Ahmadinejad's long litany of sins plagiarism is probably pretty far down the list. So I guess it really was a slow news day.
