If you think differently, then you need to check history for a look at what has gone before. We are the people of the United States of America. We are the voters who put into office those that are supposed to represent us. We give tons of money, often times when we don't really have it due to shrinking wages, loss of jobs overseas and government/corporate corruption that teams up against the people of the United States of America to pad their bank accounts while depleting ours. We ARE the shit in the middle of the Shit Sandwich. For now.....
I'm not advocating burning any tents down or breaking any legs or anything else quite so, well, emotional. In fact, I'm not advocating shit. I'm just quite tired of being the shit in the sandwich. I'm tired of being forced to take a bite of that sandwich and having to pretend that it tastes OK because for one more cycle, just like YOU, I spent my hard earned money and donated my shrinking personal time away from work to advocate for and cheerlead fellow spreadable shit-sandwich Americans to vote for people like Jon Tester.
Yes, there are many more, and it would be great if you who are currently living through the nightmare of a Democratic Senate or House Representative in your State or District would point out their names in the comments. Why? Because YOU live there and pay attention to their voting records! YOU know which are worth voting for again (spell out their names and give them KUDOS in the comments, too!) and those that talked a great game, caused you to give money, time, or even just good karma/prayers for their election, yet turned out to vote like fucking wingers when the rubber met the road, so to speak.
Kossacks, let's communicate. Who should stay? Of those, who really needs to have donations of money and time in order to be re-elected?
Who needs to be primaried? If so, if they win anyway, should we contribute money and time to them to keep them in office, or would having a Republican asswipe in office in your State / District be less of an embarassment than having to say you are represented by a Democrat that isn't?
Let's talk. Let's vent. Let's plan for the future. Right now, the future looks a lot like the recent past, even with a supposed Democratic majority in Congress.
YOU don't have to be the SHIT in the sandwich anymore. WE can start working it right now to put together an actual plan, not just another bitch session.
What do you say?
