I had hoped to review Chapter 4 of Gina Kolata's book Rethinking Thin. However, I've been slammed with overtime at work, and to top it off, my car wouldn't start yesterday morning, so I've been taking the bus to work, which takes three times as long as driving. So we won't be having the Kolata review tonight - instead, this will be another WHEE open thread.

Of course, in another two weeks, it should be warm enough to ride my bike every morning, so I'd be happier if the car hadn't broken down yesterday. On the other hand, while it's still pretty cold to ride my bike to work, the weather was worse last week, so walking to the bus isn't as bad as it could be.
