One organization can run a political campaign. But, as Van Jones says, it takes hundreds of organizations to build a movement. Coalescing those hundreds and the hundreds of thousands of people who make up those organizations is the objective of American Dream movement that he will introduce today.
In February, he wrote:
Reinvigorated by the idealism and fighting spirit on display right now in America’s heartland, the movement for ‘hope and change’ has a rare, second chance. It can renew itself and become again a national force with which to be reckoned.

Update: Just couple of minutes to go.
Update 2:Reps. Donna Edwards and Jared Polis are rousing the troops.
Update 3 (10:27): The fightback has already begun. It's not just Madison. "It's not the great exception. It's the great example." We're not alone.
Update 4 (10:37): "We have a common enemy. And we face a common peril." Forces are committed to killing the American Dream. That is their agenda. They have a wrecking ball that they have painted red, white and blue. "It's time for the deep patriots to stand up to the cheap patriots."
Update 5 (10:45): "We talk kumbaya. We talk solidarity forever. We talk 'can't we all get along.' ... But we need a movement, not a coalition, a movement to rebuild and restore and honor the American Dream. Let that be our common bond.
