Given that low turnout is almost always beneficial for Republicans, I guess it's understandable that state after state would try taking advantage of the SCOTUS dismantling of the Voter Rights Act to tip the odds in their favor. But instead of admitting they're playing politics, they claim they're saving the electoral process from the threat of voter fraud - which is statistically nearly nonexistent.
