President Barack Obama lashed back at John Boehner and the House's effort to strip him of his Executive powers. In a statement of Administration Policy directed to Rep. Yoho (R-FL), the sponsor of the diabolical bill, and seventeen other co-sponsors, the Obama administration makes it clear that they not only oppose H.R. 5759, plan on vetoing it if it makes it to the President's desk.
The House Republicans have failed to move on a Senate bi-partisan bill that was presented to them over a year ago. House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) claims he believes in Immigration reform as long as it's presented in a piecemeal fashion, however, to date, Boehner's only efforts to advance anything that might contain the word Immigration was in fact just an attempt to continue obstructing relief for undocumented Immigrants while attempting to place this nation's first minority President in check mate.
The House and the senate now led by overzealous domestic terrorists can continue their congressional sideshows and court jester antics, but history has been known to be cruel to those who trample on human rights. Their ancestors were once Immigrants, they didn't forget or forgive the abuses they suffered. Does the primarily WASP led congress think Immigrants and Latinos will? I certainly won't, and I'll make sure that my children tell their children and that this oppressive period is never erased from the annals of U.S. history.
