Wow:
Every single 2016 presidential TV ad currently airing in a battleground state is either from Hillary Clinton's campaign or the Democratic outside groups supporting her.
That’s a powerful statement about how much more organized the Clinton campaign and its supporters are than the Trump campaign and its supporters. It’s competent campaigning vs. chaos and infighting. It’s $23.3 million on ads in battleground states vs. nothing, zip, zero.
It’s also a reminder not to get complacent. If the Republicans ever get their act together and Trump’s fundraising improves or a serious Super PAC emerges to advertise for him, Clinton won’t have the airwaves to herself anymore. Trump’s current abysmal standing in the polls could improve … at least a little. There’s also the danger that, with Trump at the top of the ticket, Republican donors put more of their resources into the Senate and House (as the Koch brothers are already doing), making it harder to turn the Senate blue and tilt the balance on the Supreme Court.
We should definitely all point and laugh at the Trump campaign’s dysfunction and the Republican establishment’s angst over their presumptive nominee. Just don’t think that means we can sit back and not fight for every scrap.
Please give $3 to help turn the Senate blue. The future of the Supreme Court depends on it.
