“I was shocked when I read the headline that said Patty Judge is challenging Sen. Grassley. Before she can challenge Sen. Grassley, she has to win the Democratic primary running against two excellent progressive candidates, Tom Fiegen and Rob Hogg.
“Patty Judge was no friend of family farmers when she was Secretary of Agriculture, rather she was usually on the side of corporate ag.”
The worst thing she did in her political career was to give bad advise to Gov. Culver when she was lieutenant governor.
“She made sure that the environmentally-friendly members of the Environmental Protection Commission who were appointed by Gov. Vilsack and were making a big difference in improving air and water quality were not re-appointed.”
Iowa needs a progressive voice in the Senate, not a Democrat who acts like a Republican.”
