A week ago Kurt Eichenwald — an excellent investigative journalist who writes for Newsweek — tweeted that his story that would post the next day would change the narrative of the presidential election.
Any other year it would have.
Eichenwald’s story carefully and brutally exposed the many nefarious dealings of Trump’s business empire. It should have been talked about 24/7 on TV. It should have driven a wooden stake into the heart of the Trump.
Instead, the media was all excited about Dr. Oz and Hillary’s stumble.
The Newsweek story? Too complicated. Not sexy enough. Whatever.
Nobody cared.
