This is really funny - we've seen even here in the States how public outrage has curtailed Bush's public appearances. Regularly he is reduced to locking up protesters in a cage 3 blocks away from his appearance or speaking only at 'secure' (dissent free)locations such as military bases (where event attendees can be ordered to cheer) or private organizations and institutions.
During Bush's (kinda) recent trip to Africa, the local populace at one stop was relocated and held in a stadium on the other side of town until he left town.
Now we get word that during his upcoming trip to London, the boy prince will not get to meet the Queen Mum or address parliament, two traditional facets of state visits which he had to forgo during his last visit (during the build-up to invasion) due to publicity, I mean security concerns.
Here's the story from Aljazeera:

A few highlights:
Downing Street told Aljazeera.net that they were unable to confirm 'speculation' over plans for Bush's state visit.
However, a Downing Street insider confirmed "things are not going according to plan" because of the hostility towards the Bush administration.
Jubilant antiwar campaigners have vowed to keep up the pressure and demand that the invitation for President Bush's visit to London is retracted.
Right on!
