Bush sure isn't wasting any time gloating over today's announcement concerning Libya's agreeing to dismantle its WMD program. He is using this event to further prove to us that he is making the world safer and that he is on the right track. "How dare anyone even think of criticizing the Dork now!" will be the mantra of the media. He probably feels that this event guarantees his election. With all the breaks that he seems to be getting, and with the media seemingly in his back pocket, combined with a spineless Democratic opposition - I hate to say this - but barring an assassination or super serious scandal that even the Repugs will have to investigate I'm feeling tonight that he is a lock for 2004. This Libya thing coming one week after the Saddam show is pretty disheartening to this Democrat. When will we score some hits? Am I too pessimistic or am I being realistic?
