A caller on the Diane Ream show this morning had a great observation of a credibility gap with regard to Bush's latest assertion that the Iraq war was primarily about the humanitarian effort to oust Saddam. Basically, the caller said that if Bush's goal was more about capturing Saddam than about the possible threat of WMD's, then why did he make an offer to the regime which would allow them to peacibly leave the country?
