Well, I'd been a Deaniac all along - as someone who wishes the rules of politics would change - since the beginning, and I'm still getting tons of email from them.
As a MA native who has been lukewarm at best about Sen. Kerry, and don't think he'd be a good candidate (there's too much Bob Dole and Al Gore in him for my taste), I'm trying to decide between sticking with Dean or going to John Edwards instead.
Dean has some big problems (his staff spent a lot of money in a reckless fashion, he's prone to having to explain damaging statements, etc.) Some of it can be blamed on the media, but it's not as if those wouldn't still be problems this fall.
Edwards strikes me - despite the natural phobia many have for trial attorneys - as the best candidate for the general election.
But I still love and appreciate what Dean's done for the party and the race, and what he may continue to do.
