My betrothed and I were selected to be an Arbitron household this week. We're both mid-20s professionals in Columbus, OH. We picked up XM 2 weeks ago to listen to Air America. We've been diligent in filling out our diaries - basically 8 hours a day of Air America, either through XM or streaming from the internet.
I know very little about the world of radio/media ratings. We'd like to think we're representative of our age-group around here(I know that a lot of ppl at work who have listening via the web), and that we're help shape commercial response to Air America.
Will 2 people have much of an impact vis-a-vis additional advertising or a possible station pick up in Columbus? Asked another way, is Arbitron even a big deal to advertisers and station owners?
