Bush is lying awake one night in the White House and gets up and wanders around. While so doing, he runs into the ghost of George Washington. He asks Washington what he should do to help the country. Washington replies, "Always tell the truth. Be transparent in everything you do and you will be fine." Bush goes back to bed.
The following night, the same thing happens, except this time, he runs into the ghost of Thomas Jefferson. He asks Jefferson for advice and Jefferson replies, "Always follow and honor the Constitution and you will be fine." Bush goes back to bed.
The next night, the same thing happens, except this time Bush runs into the ghost of Franklin Roosevelt. FDR's advice to Bush is: "Always look out for the working man. If you do that, you will be fine." Bush goes back to bed.
The fourth night, the same thing happens. Bush runs into the ghost of Abraham Lincoln. Bush says to Lincoln, "I have just run into Washington, Jefferson, and Roosevelt to ask them for advice and I have to tell you, their advice makes no sense to me. What would you have me do?" Lincoln replies, "Go see a play."
