From Reuters:
Bush, who aides said slept rather than watch his rival's Democratic nomination acceptance speech to run against him in November, defended his actions in Iraq (news - web sites) and warned: "If America shows uncertainty or weakness in this decade, the world will drift toward tragedy. This will not happen on my watch."
Me:
Why does the Bush team think that Americans will be impressed that he can't spend 50 minutes to hear what his rivil has said? We're talking about the future of the country. Shouldn't hearing another point of view be a positive thing. I'm become more convinced that his re-election campaign is going to be poorly run and out of tune with many Americans. Rove will take most of the blame.
