Well, this is not a DEADLY SERIOUS topic, but sort of a human interest one. It seems we have found another issue that divides us as kossacks and as a nation. Those who vote in garages (or if they don't, know about this phenomenon) and those who don't.
I have voted in 3 states and the first time I had an inkling of the "voting in garage" syndrome was on an episode of King of the Hill, and I thought they were either kidding or making fun of some hick voting method.
As it turns out, it seems that garage voting is quite common in some areas. The deciding factor seems not to be geography, but population density or rather perhaps the density of nonresidential buildings.
Now while I have voted in the basement of an apartment complex before, that's at least somewhat impersonal. The idea of going into an annex of somebody's house for something as "official" as voting strikes me as some kind of weird invasion of privacy--and how do you know that the person whose garage you're using isn't some kind of major partisan?
So it's time for the poll.
