I'm here in Columbus still, and have some interesting news about the goings on here. But first, please visit these people's sites, and if you live in Franklin county or the right areas of Ohio, vote for them:
At the very least, I hope that this helps their google page ranks. :-)
Anyway, things are getting more serious here in Ohio. I've heard more stories of vandalism and downright meanness on both sides, but primarily on the part of the Bush supporters. In fact, the restaurant that we had a meet at tonight which was registered on the Kerry site recieved threats for hosting us. Pro-Kerry signs are being stolen and ripped up, people's cars are being vandalized that have pro-Kerry stickers on them, and there is a lot of intimidation going on. It's too bad that those of us who support Kerry and a broad definition of the 2nd amendment are too few in number. If someone vandalizes anything of mine, they will get either a boot or a bullet up their ass.
Anyway, I hope to be more involved with Columbus as a whole, although it seems like the little community I am in right now has a lot of work as well. Although there's no organization doing this, I plan to make flyers to post in various places as well, because there's only so much that canvassing and phone banking can accomplish. I wish I could have been involved with things earlier, because there are lots of things that can be done that are not being done for the campaign.
Anyway, time to go watch "The Apprentice" and to say, "FUCK BUSH!"
