The Corvallis Gazette-Times should embarrassed. Okay, they need to generate interest in their Letters to the Editor section. Okay, controversy is good. But seriously, does it benefit America to print a letter accusing half the nation of treason...
From Corvallis Gazette Times:
Letters: A vote for Kerry is a vote for al-Qaida
Sunday's victory by the opposition Socialist Party in Spain gives me an idea and suggestion for the fans of Sen. John Kerry and those responsible for the "gist" of his TV political ads and banners:
Please spare us from 250 more days of vitriolic insults of the President of the United States, during one of the most difficult times in history for the United States and the free world. Please simply state, on your banners and ads: "Send A Message to the al-Qaida: `You win. We give up!' Vote for Sen. John Kerry for president! Like Spain, he promises to pull back American troops around the world and downsize the U.S. Defense Department!"
