This is Kit Kit, the issue machine.
What can I say? I had issues with this addition to the family at this particular point in time. Issues with the many expenses, the damaged furniture, the fruitless searches in the dark, the crashes at night, and the inevitable neuroses Kit Kit would spawn in the territorial minds of my beloved two adult cats,
Tiger and Smokey.
I was proud of my calm, eminently rational outline of the facts for my opinion on this matter after a very long day, pleased with the lucidity of my judicious reasoning that ultimately lead to a wise decision for us all.
This lasted about 120 minutes and then my wife walked in and gave me that amused look that every husband knows so well:
you really expect us to take you seriously about this? Knowing full well I was the helplessly besotted owner of two felines, I gave up without a word.
I'm pleased to report that it's been a blessing for us all, in the balance of things, of course, and Kit Kit has been a thriving, happy member of the family for eight days.
