My election-eve predictions are 311 EVs for Kerry (all Gore states plus OH, FL and NH), a +1 gain in the Senate, and a +7 gain in the House.
I blew 2002, so don't look for a record of great prognostication. I am clearly a much better observer than predictor. I mean, predictions are really just educated guesses, and could bite any of us in the ass.
As for tomorrow, I'll be obviously blogging all day, after I get back from voting (goddamn ballot initiatives!). If I get my hands on exit polls I'll run them. But keep in mind that unlike last election, there's only one outfit doing exit polling -- AP -- so their results may be better guarded than the media consortium that leaked like crazy in 2002. Also note that the 2002 exit polling was terrible. So any such numbers will be more for entertainment sake than anything more.
Finally, I'm glad I live in the West Coast. You East Coasters and Middle America people will have to wait LATE to get a final decision. With luck, we'll have a president Kerry at 7 p.m. my time. That would be sweet.
GOTV!
Update: Oh yeah, all the hardware powering the site seems to be holding up nicely. But don't be surprised if I have to turn of features and graphics during the day.
