I don't think this has been posted yet, but the Gallup predictions we were mocking for the past two months turned out to be sound.
Their prediction for Conservative/Republican turnout being significantly higher than liberal/democrat turnout, was correct.
I believe the statistics were 22% in 2000 increasing to 34% of the electorate.
Kerry won the liberal (86-13) AND the moderate vote (55-45) but it didn't matter because the conservative vote (84-15) went to Bush.
We were wrong, THEY knew it, it was our warning and we discounted it repeatedly.
It's time to own up the realization that they had it pegged, and we ignored the warning.
