When I came home on Wednesday I had found that my 16 year old son covered our Kerry/Edwards lawn sign with his homemade sign "There's No Help On the Way."
It made me both sad and proud. Only the week before my wife I are were surprised and pleased when our daughter, attending college in Philadelphia, told us she had been knocking on neighbor's doors for Kerry. We did a good job to raise kids who care about our country.
I thought back to the story that one of the Kerry daughters told about her father.
"You are the luckiest person in the world. You are healthy and you live in America."
Keep your eyes on the Prize.
