I have worked very hard the last 4 years to stop the Bush Agenda. I will be working the next 4 years to do so also. After serious consideration, I have decided the following action and am sending emails out to the persons involved, you don't have to agree with me, as I said it is a personal choice. However, I am wondering if in addition to the boycott mentioned of companies that contribute to the RNC, anyone like me is going to take it a step further?
Dear (Name):
Due to the fact I have dedicated the last four years of my life trying to counteract Bush's Right Wing NeoCon Agenda and he is in my opinion, the worst president ever, I will now have to continue for the next 4 years to try and keep him from decimating the environment like drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge which is what started my activism in the first place, restricting our civil liberties in an Orwellian manner, revoking a women's right to choose, the list is endless, just so you can have your tax cut or don't wish to recognize the separation of church and state. Anyone that has voted for Bush in either the first or second election has or will have caused me thousands of hours of work over the next four years, taking me away from the things I really would have preferred doing. This is unacceptable.
Since you voted for W. at the very least the first time and/or second time, you are now permanently off my list - Forever. Take Me Off Yours Now. No Emails. Phone Calls. Letters. Nothing. Off. This is valid for all personal friends not exclusively you.
I do think you have the right to Vote for Bush.
However, I have the right not to associate with those that do.
Signed,
My Real Name
