The
Harvard College Democrats Blog has put out some research on Bush's leading candidate to replace Alan Greenspan at the Federal Reserve. They write:
"...his donations to President Bush should raise some eyebrows. Federal Election Commission rules allow donations of $2000 per person per election cycle but Feldstein has clearly stepped over that limit. What is even more intriguing is that Feldstein used two different titles (Honorable and Mister) and two different addresses (Cambridge and Belmont) on his donations. Additionally, on one of his contributions to Bush-Cheney, he listed "Howard University" as his employer and on the other "Harvard University." Feldstein is in no way affiliated with Howard University."
Breaking election laws is no small matter and the man who Bush wants to run the US economy should understand that he is not above those laws.
