Just want to post a heads up in the
unlikely chance the Kerry campaign is not paying attention...
Not that this is a surprise ... but the Bush debate recovery effort is trying to kick the "global test" line against Kerry. Bush on the stump today is now referring to it as "the Kerry Doctrine" and Faux News is reporting there'll be a new Bush ad along this line on Monday (although I wonder what they're waiting for -- three days to release an ad is seriously off their game).
Nice pivot is to say the "Kerry Doctrine" is "don't mislead the world and have a plan to win the peace."
Better still is a new line of attack to drown this out. I'd rather the bastards spend the day denying Bush was wearing an earpiece. I see no reason why this "Internet rumor" can't seep into general circulation -- you know damn well the Powerline/Drudge axis would be all over this if it were Kerry. Why can't the left side of the web have the same power (while of course giving the mainstream campaign outlets full deniability)?
Suggestions to undercut/drown out Bush's "Kerry Doctrine" line of attack?
