Cobb gets evidence of tampering
Sherole Eaton says in her Affidavit (1):
Michael from Triad Systems came into [the Board of Election's office] .. He arrived at about 12:30PM. I hung his coat up and it was very heavy. I made a comment about it being so heavy... He proceeded to go to the room where our computer and tabulation machine is kept... He said that the battery in the computer was dead and that the stored information was gone. He said that he could put a patch on it and fix it... He proceeded to take the computer apart and call his offices to get information to input into our computer... He took both computers apart.
Cobb/ Badnarik & K/E lawyers sue for recount tampering (3)
A computer and voting systems expert chimes in: Professor of Computer Science Douglas Jones asserts, in a signed affidavit, that
Triad Election Systems' visits to local Board of Elections compromises the credibility and integrity of the Ohio recount.

Why the Eaton affidavit is so troubling:
The entire SW of the tabulator could have been altered
No wonder Glibs and Kerry sued!!!
On Jones' Affidavit he describes the many security concerns raised by Eaton's description of the Triad technician's visit (below, but you will need magnifying glasses to read)
Meanwhile, an IT guy talks about all that can be done with OS access

Something in the BIOS:
He pulled the battery, rebooted which reset the bios, then replaced the battery and re-booted again with the default settings.
Did he have a chance before the elections to access the computer ? You can flash modern EEPROMs (bios chips) for hardware like a video card, or a software modifier.....
Older computers you can actually "burn" a EPROM to do lots of stuff too. The BIOS chip plugs right in the mother board like a memory module...
You can actually put a small linux kernel on a bios chip and it'll boot off of that....

I deleted the original diary to see if this time it gets noticed.
Don't miss
this diary on the topic either!
