Coco Nut
has suggested a Link Archive for putting links that come up with useful quick information on recurring topics.
We've started a page in kosopedia for this here, if you'd like to refer to it or help keep it current.
The idea is to have quick reference links which answer key questions... we all tend to lose track of such links (bookmarked or not) when we want to pass them on later or refer to them again.
Kosopedia Centric Question: It's possible to create any page in the wiki but there is always the question of how do you get there from the main page, the official starting point of the wiki. I think a page like this should possibly link straight from the
Main Page itself. Right now it's linked by the "Internet" section of media. There is a link in a section of that page. This is awkward because that page is actually the "Blogosphere" page. So there is some minor reorg to do here, ideas welcome (as is just going and fixing it yourself! :)
Well, actually, if you just go fix it yourself I'd still like to hear your thoughts on this organizational side issue. Is the kosopedia well set up for this? This is largely what it's for... quick reference to other data is the natural strength of wiki's. So this isn't just a general "Link Archive" but a Topical Index to data you might commonly need. It's timely, because it's relative to the "current debate" as defined by the blogosphere and mainstream media.
I imagine by default what needs to happen is the creation of an actual "Internet Media" page that links to the Blogosphere article, this new page, and others like it.
