In reporting on today's DNC Southern Caucus meeting in Atlanta, the
Kansas City Star points out:
And chairmen are often remembered only when they do something wrong; witness Roy Roemer, who was caught on video in 1998 necking in a car with an aide. Or consider Ed Rendell, who declared in December 2000 that Gore had lost the race before Gore had even spoken, prompting a DNC official to state publicly that the loquacious party chairman didn't speak for the party.
Yesterday, the Justice Department unsealed a FOUR COUNT indictment against Donnie Fowler's campaign fundraiser David Rosen...
Junior's response:
"I'm sorry that that happened to David, but I don't think it's going to stop or slow down the campaign for chair," Fowler said in a telephone interview Friday.
This is yet another case of Fowler showing poor judgement. Junior brought on a fundraiser who was under investigation because he doesn't understand post-modern politics. Instead of going directly to Democrats for support, Fowler is relying upon bagmen to deliver the money. When he did directly ask he was criticized, as
wonkette reported, "If you're not already Donnie Fowler's friend, you can be for a lousy fifty bucks."
This is on top of the Donnie Fowler King of flaming dog poop scandal.
Considering Donnie Fowler has referred to himself as "king of the burning dog poop" and compromised his campaign with this news, can we rely upon Junior to keep the party out of scandal?
