With all the fuss around the elections in Iraq 12 days ago, how come nobody in the US has yet mentioned the election results? Clearly, Allawi lost and is doing whatever he can to remain in power. However, so far, it looks like the Iraqis chose to get closer to Iran.

By the way, in the same article, did you know that 70 Iraqi died yesterday?
Why so much noise and activity around the Gannon/Guckert story?? Are you trying to embarass them and get us a new "Terror Alert"?
I have enjoyed the unusual peace and serenity since the last US elections (Al Qaeda must be so afraaiiiid because W is president... they are so afraid of dying, you know...).
And Condi's lies, existing threats during the summer 2001, etc, have been know for 2 years, it has not stuck to any of them. Why do you think it will make a difference now that he has been reelected for 4 years?
Sorry, there has been so many reasons to think that such or such story would sink them, and yet, none of them has risen to the scandal level it should have been. Unfortunately, not enough people use the internet to educate themselves.
I am convinced that W's administration is the most malevolent that can be. And yet, they will manage to build his image up as they did Reagan's. He is now believed to be an american hero, and most people (Dems alike, at least in public) eat that like an ego booster: the best president for the best country in the whole Universe, ever!
Sorry: I think you are amazing in the research you have done. I got really excited following the development of your story. Then I remembered that I am tired of having my hopes to see them shamed crushed.
If the media did not talk about the elections irregularities, I don't see why they would dig this one deeper.
