I have an idea for a Social Security op-ed cartoon, but I have absolutely no artistic talent to make it actually exist. So, if anyone out there can draw but is lacking ideas, please consider stealing this one:
THE SCENE:
The left side of the frame is a normal doctor's office. A figure labeled "Social Security" sits on the examining table in your standard hospital johnny. George W Bush, dressed in doctor-y garb (white coat, stethoscope, and so forth) stands by him.
Social Security: "Doctor, I've got this mild headache..."
Doctor W: "Ah, I have just the thing to cure that. If you'd step this way..."
Doctor W is gesturing toward a door in the wall that splits the left and right sides of the frame. The door is slightly open, and allows a spill of light into the room on the right side of the frame (our Social Security figure can't see into this room from where he sits).
This room is dark and dungeon-like, empty but for a big ugly guillotine sitting smack in the center, labeled "Privatization."
