I understand there is a Friday cat blogging tradition, so I'll share a cat story from this week.
I breed and show purebred cats in CFA as a hobby, well I don't breed very many because I can't bear to part with them after raising them from birth to kittenhood. It's heartbreaking and I always wonder what their new home will be like. A few years ago, I sold one of the kittens to someone for a pet and said if you ever take pictures e-mail them to me. A nice lady on the other side of Baltimore. We've e-mailed a few times over the few years, but she couldn't figure out how to send me a photo, til just this week. So I finally got to see a picture of one of my babies that I had to let go long ago, it's like seeing an old friend again for the first time in a while. I just love it when the people who have bought a kitten from me share pictures to show me how they're growing and how much they love their kitty.
Here he is, Mr. Miyagi, with the cutest pink nose! He's a blue lynxpoint Colorpoint Shorthair (which is just a special color of Siamese), and those blue eyes are his daddy's blue eyes. The black kitty in the picture is his best buddy Gizmo.
As you probably can guess, Bill Frist is a dirty word in my house.
