I changed my tagline to give an artist a some help with his google rank.
Is this spam?
The poll decides if I stop.
The background:
Alp Ozberker is a San Francisco artist. He recently got his website up and wants his customers to be able to find it when they google his name (which is probably unique in the world).
But because his name comes up on all kinds of art show websites (and a "art resource" website) his own page gets bounced down the list.
Am I committing a web ethics violation by using my tagline to link to his website? I'm basically google-bombing his name. Thoughts?
If the poll tells me I'm being naughty, I'll change the tagline.
