This, from self-described "leading conservative news site on the web," Newsmax.com, about a Sean Hannity radio broadcast from a Long Island bookstore:
Hannity Event Disrupted by 'Terrorist'
The atmosphere at a Friday afternoon book-signing that was being broadcast on Sean Hannity's ABC Radio show turned unexpectedly tense when a group of eight to ten people - including one self-proclaimed member of the Earth Liberation Front - invaded the bookstore.
Hannity was hosting former Sen. Zell Miller at Long Island's Book Revue, where Miller was scheduled to e sign copies of his new release, "A Deficit of Decency."
...
The group was wearing bulky black clothing totally inappropriate for the warm spring day, prompting concerns about concealed weapons.
More on the flip....
As Miller sat in a different part of the store signing books, the apparent leader of the group began to engage Hannity from the audience, explaining that he was an E.L.F. member who was out on bail after being charged with cyberterrorism.
While the speaker was not belligerent, the E.L.F. reference combined with the group's strange dress left many in the audience feeling intimidated. Police were called.
Four officers responded in minutes and stationed themselves near the invaders. By this time Hannity was packing up to leave for Manhattan to prepare for his Fox News TV show.
So if I've got this straight: a guy in a black coat asks Hannity a question--in a non-belligerent way--and the cops are called?
If I may quote Dan Rather: "Courage," Sean. "Courage."
