According to Drudge, a new poll has 60% siding with Dems on the filibuster issue. This is very good news, because it most likely isn't the result of some deep understanding of or fondness for Senate procedures, but instead means that 60% of people have internalized the idea that Bush is trying to appoint some scary judges.
On CNN's Crossfire (which I thought had been cancelled by the way), Ralph Neas displayed a chart of 30 judicial nominees who had been filibustered (this number would not include an unknown but larger number whose nominations had been stalled through the Hold process) and said 80% of those were GOP filibusters.
The GOP lies with impunity.
P.S.
Carville said that Novak had been caught in another lie.
Heh.
